Rest assured, it does not just look and feel. The best part about Airmail is it only has a one-time cost of $9.99 and your good to go. The privacy mode works just fine, and there’s support for plugins that let you add features like Reading Receipts, SMIME encryption, and a lot more. It also supports G-Suite, iCloud, Exchange, Office 365, and lets you manage them with much flexibility. Apart from these, you get handy features like delaying (chance to undo your sent email) and Gmail keyboard shortcuts. Few of these applications include Plugin Framework API that can be a convenient option for developers to integrate their apps with Airmail. Airmail is integrated with several productivity applications like Bus圜al, Things, OmniFocus, Trello, Evernote, and lots more. It gives you hassle-free email management while letting you add as many email accounts as you prefer. It allows you to compose Mail in Markdown or HTML and opens a side-by-side window to display your email’s visual preview. Just fix this stupid app so I can use it again.Airmail looks absolutely gorgeous, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint with its responsiveness and the features it has to offer.
The app is I SUPPOSE a fraction better then the iOS 15 beta but gosh, it’s just impossible to use. It just stays how I left it the last time, on a frozen screen with a button that has been pressed but isn’t working. When I double tap the home button and swipe the app away, it doesn’t refresh when I open it again.
Half the time I press the screen while using the app it doesn’t even register. The date at the bottom of the app that says “Last Updated” often says dates that were weeks or even months ago when I have new mail from today. The “Read” system is also completely not working. Every time I try to move mail to another folder it disappears briefly, but then isn’t in the folder I moved it into, and then it just reappears in its original folder and says I haven’t read it. Every email takes about 15 seconds to appear once I tap on it. Now, after iOS 15.1 supposedly “fixed mail crashes” (it was crashing), the app is now slightly usable but still EXTREMELY buggy, unreliable, and STILL crashes. I need to use my mail and this was super frustrating and inconvenient. iOS 15 brought lots of bugs and defects to the mail app for iPhone.
